Our Flora Manufacturing plant held an Easter coloring contest for the immediate family of our Team Members, ages 12 and under. Out of 95 total entries, we chose two winners from each age group, and all children received an Easter bag. Thanks to everyone who participated!

In recognition of World Cancer Day earlier this year, Team Members could purchase cancer awareness apparel with over 15 different ribbon colors to choose from. Profits from our shirt orders were donated to the Edgar County D.O. It Cancer Support Group benefitting cancer treatment patients in our local community. Thanks to everyone who ordered a cancer ribbon shirt, we were able to donate over $300 to this local organization!

🍀 Congratulations to the lucky winners of Salem Plant’s pot of gold and candy jar guessing game! Ken Barthelemy, 2nd Shift Maintenance, was the lucky lad who won the pot of gold. John Foster Jr., 2nd Shift Coatings, guessed 333 pieces of candy, the exact number in the candy jar, and won the candy and a $25 gift card. 🍀

Members from our Paris training team took a trip to the 2024 Chicago Auto Show where NAL was well represented. Seeing our lamps on display at the nation’s largest and longest-running auto show was certainly awe-inspiring!

Designed to showcase modern manufacturing which is high-tech, clean, diverse, and sustainable, the Makers on the Move bus tour visits manufacturing facilities, colleges, and high schools across the state during manufacturing month in October to highlight the innovative manufacturing sector and amazing job opportunities that are available today.
This year, the IMA and our partners at IMEC are hosting a design contest for the 46-foot charter bus wrap, open to all Illinois high school students. The winner of the contest will not only have their design featured on the bus for the entire week-long, statewide tour, but will also win the offer for the bus to stop at their high school!
Interested students must completed the submission form available via the link below to receive dimensions of the bus and design format instructions that must be used for submission (.AI is preferred).
Designs are due to the IMA by 5:00pm on Tuesday, April 30th.

Terre Haute South Ben Myers Memorial Scholarship:
In honor of our coworker and friend, Ben Myers, who we lost in an auto accident earlier this year, we’re awarding a Terre Haute South Vigo High School senior with the $1,000 Ben Myers Memorial Scholarship. Ben graduated from THS in 2015 and loved golfing in his free time. This memorial scholarship will be awarded to a THS senior with an interest in business and golf. Students should use the same general application link to apply, making special mention in their essay supporting their eligibility as it relates to business education and golf.
