Operator

STARTING PAY: $17.50/hr and up

Location: Muscle Shoals, AL, US, 35661

Our Opportunity

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for an Operator – Molding to join our team. The ideal candidate will load and unload parts from machine, and perform quality review while handling parts (both prior to and after parts are processed).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Unloads parts from machine and places parts on racks or in packaging.

• Performs quality review prior to, during, and after the process, separating out bad parts.

• Keeps work area clean, swept and free of dust, and maintains good 6S’ within the department.

• Ensures that the scrap basket is emptied in regular intervals.

• Assists department personnel in clean-up operations and machine changes.

• Locates and brings processed parts to work station for loading when the material handler or technician is unavailable to do so.

Requirements

Your Background:

High School Diploma or GED, plus 0-2 years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Material Handler

STARTING PAY: $19.15/hr and up

Location: Muscle Shoals, AL, US, 35661

Our Opportunity

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will load, unload, and transport materials in order to keep parts moving throughout the department and/or facility in compliance with company processes (i.e.: Kanban system).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Moves parts and/or finished goods to/and between process areas throughout the plant.

• Properly places Kanban cards on parts and/or finished goods leaving department.

• Supplies operators with empty roll-around racks, baskets, tubs, etc.

• Utilizes time efficiently in order to move parts between processes in a timely manner.

• Helps to insure strict adherence to all safety policies and practices.

• Assists in all cleaning operations within department.

Requirements

Your Background:

High School Diploma or GED, plus 1-3 years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Completion of training course for forklift operation and current forklift certification preferred.
