First, with regard to mask concerns, we have made significant progress in our pursuit of an optimal cloth mask option. We have conducted additional trials at each NAL plant, received feedback as to which mask provided the greatest level of comfort, and have placed orders for the favored mask.
North American Lighting Achieves 1 Million Hours With No Lost Time Injuries
North American Lighting, Inc,’s (NAL’s) Alabama team members achieve 1 million hours without a lost time injury. The plant logged 1 million safe hours from November 9, 2019 to June 27, 2020 and have continued logging hours beyond this benchmark.

NAL fully supports the government’s initiatives to “flatten the curve” in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. With the health and safety of its Team Members and their families in mind, NAL has been implementing as many telework accommodations for Team Members as possible. NAL has also taken the lead from our customers and has instituted various plant shut downs to help stop the spread.

We have confirmed with our customers that they will be taking time out of their production schedules, therefore we are adjusting our manufacturing operations beginning tomorrow, March 21.

NAL is pleased to report that the potential Coronavirus (COVID-19) exposure at the Paris, Illinois Corporate office has resulted in a negative diagnosis for the employee in question. We are very pleased at this outcome and happy to report that there has been no Coronavirus exposure in any NAL facility at this time.

NAL has become aware of a potential COVID-19 exposure situation at the Paris, Illinois corporate office. As a precautionary measure, the corporate office is currently closed and undergoing a thorough and professional cleaning to eliminate any potential biohazards. We have asked corporate team members to work from home until further notice.
