Apply Now: NAL Scholarship For Excellence

North American Lighting is now accepting applications for the $1,000 NAL Scholarships for Excellence until Friday, April 8, 2022. These scholarships were established as a way to help students further their education in the business, engineering or technology field. Our goal is to support local students in education and furthermore, provide internships for those planning to live and work in the communities we serve.

Eligible applicants include those who will graduate high school in the spring of 2022 and plan to enroll in college in the fall of 2022. Applications and all accompanying documentation must be received by end of business on April 8, 2022 to be considered. For more information, call 217-465-6600 or email us.

To be considered for the scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:

  1. You must be a high school senior graduating in 2022 and enrolling in college in the Fall of 2022.
  2. The college you attend must be an accredited technical school, junior college or university.
  3. The degree you pursue must be in business, engineering or technology.
  4. You must provide three letters of recommendation from individuals outside of your family to support your character, work ethic and community involvement.
  5. You must submit a 500-word (minimum) essay titled “My Educational and Career Goals.”
