The Top 16 head-to-head matchups are underway for Makers Madness: The Coolest Thing Made in Illinois, presented by Comcast Business.
(March 3, 2021) – North American Lighting, Inc.’s (NAL) Ford Bronco headlight is a finalist in the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association’s (IMA) Makers Madness contest on a mission to find The Coolest Thing Made in Illinois.
The Top 16 matchups are underway and run through Sunday, March 7. NAL is paired against Nerds Gummy Clusters Candy from Ferrara USA in the first round of competitions.
“After an intense development phase, it’s gratifying to see this iconic headlight in production and in the spotlight,” said NAL Design Engineer, Simon Fischer.
Voters are able to cast one vote per day per matchup in this round of 16. Visit https://makersmadnessil.com/cast-your-vote/ to vote for NAL daily until March 7.
The competition culminates in an awards ceremony on March 24 where The Coolest Thing Made in Illinois will be announced.
The Ford Bronco’s 2-door and 4-door headlights are manufactured by Team Members at NAL’s facility in Flora, IL.
