MUSCLE SHOALS, AL (September 16, 2020) – North American Lighting, Inc.’s (NAL’s) Alabama team members achieve 1 million hours without a lost time injury. The plant logged 1 million safe hours from November 9, 2019 to June 27, 2020 and have continued logging hours beyond this benchmark.

“This success is a direct result of the dedication of our team members, along with the close support from the Plant Safety Committee,” said Kirk Gadberry, NAL President and COO. “This could not have been achieved without every person pledging to make safety the top priority, so thank you for your personal commitment to safety and excellence at NAL.”

This accomplishment is one that many manufacturing companies strive for but seldom achieve. Congratulations are in order for reaching this significant milestone that sets NAL’s manufacturing team apart in the industry.

“I want to thank our team members for their diligent use of Kiken Yochi (a Japanese-based hazard prevention training) to identify hazards,” added Cliff Stout, Plant Safety Supervisor. “By identifying and addressing hazards, we are continually reducing the potential risk for injuries.”
